MAISD Facilities Improvement Projects
School facilities management staff are responsible for maintaining the school's environment including maintaining, repairing and enhancing infrastructure to create a safe, efficient, comfortable and functional space for teaching and learning.
The facilities team works daily to maintain our buildings and equipment by completing regularly scheduled preventative and routine maintenance work orders and checks on all of our equipment and infrastructure throughout the district. Our team currently maintains all of our 6 buildings and grounds located throughout Montcalm county.
When equipment breaks, our department must decide when to repair verse replace said broken equipment. These decisions are not made lightly and include taking numerous variables into consideration such as age, expected life of said equipment and efficiency of existing verses new.
