The Montcalm County Great Start Collaborative (MCGSC) has been working for the last twelve years to build a seamless system for all of our young children and their families. The MCGSC continues to build access and advocate for affordable high-quality early care, education and other services in Montcalm County. One of the ways we have chosen to infuse early childhood as a priority in our communities and system building efforts is to provide coaching support to our community partner’s initiatives. MCGSC staff come to the table to support and coach community partners in the areas of strategic planning, parent leadership, facilitation & adaptive schools instruments, collaborative infrastructure building and grant writing efforts in Montcalm County. The MCGSC is committed to provide coaching to enhance the development of a seamless system of care that utilizes community resources and supports to help families have access to tools needed to provide a healthy start for all children.
