The Montcalm Area Intermediate School District (MAISD) is seeking bids for the items listed below.
Bids are only accepted until the due date and time specified in the bid packet.
Bid packets, if not posted here, are available either by e-mailing the listed bid contact or following instructions within attachments below.
MAISD may not accept late or incomplete responses and is not responsible for late or misdirected mail.
Information related to posting on this site may also be posted to the USAC E-rate site, State of Michigan SIGMA procurement site, online listserv groups, news media, or other locations deemed relevant by the district including direct e-mail announcements to known vendors.

2025 Data Transport RFP
2025 Data Transport RFP - Addendums or Requests for Information
Requested Maps & Questions:
Recommended maps are in Google Earth and are just suggestions.
We expect respondent to provide their best suggestion for a provided bid.
This would include information related to underground versus aerial fiber, routes and pathways, and total distance.

For a self provisioned network, underground fiber is preferred with the understanding it is up to the respondent to obtain permits, variances, and make their best suggestion for the proposed network if they wish to suggest a more cost effective route.
Miss Dig: We currently do not receive tickets from Miss Dig and would expect respondent to coordinate all aspects of the proposed project.
Current WAN: Our current WAN is a leased managed system and not currently owned.
Nexus:
Yes, we have conditional approval in Nexus for State of Michigan matching funds.

Prevailing Wage
Respondents are responsible for determining if Prevailing Wage applies to the proposed project as a state project and ensure projects contain provisions for prevailing wage as determined by the United States Secretary of Labor to meet or exceed minimum wage schedules for all workers on projects.
The MAISD Board of Education Policy PO6350 describes requirements for Prevailing Wage.
Bid Opening
The bid opening is as stated in the bid documentation scheduled for March 7, 2025 at 2:00pm at such time when all bids are due. Sealed bids are required. Emailed bids are not suggested and may be missed for consideration.
Errors and Corrections
Due to a typographical error on "Attachment B - Public Disclosure", if a vendor is selected and approved for the project, a revised form will need to be signed or initialed by the selected vendor prior to project commencement.
